4-Day Uganda Safari – Itinerary.
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park by car. Embark on a Southern White Rhino Trekking adventure at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Day 2: Begin the day with a morning excursion to explore the wildlife in the northern region of Murchison. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari down the Nile River and embark on a climb to reach the summit of the falls.
On the third day, we will embark on a journey to Kibale National Park by car. Full-day journey
On the fourth day, we will engage in chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park and then proceed to drive back to Kampala.
4-Day Uganda Safari – detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park by car.
Depart from Kampala / Entebbe at 6:30 am to travel to Murchison Falls National Park, which is located 311km away. The journey will take around 5 hours, not including any stops made along the way. During your journey, you make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to engage in the activity of tracking the southern white Rhinos. This activity typically takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
Have lunch along the way and then continue to the park, which offers scenic views of the verdant Budongo forest. If you choose to sleep at a specific location within the park, you have the opportunity to participate in an evening game drive.

Day 2 of 4 Day Uganda Safari, this Begin the day with a morning game drive in the northern region of Murchison. In the afternoon, embark on a Nile boat safari and hike to the summit of the falls.
The morning game drive commences between 6 am and 7 am, depending on the location of your accommodation. The game drive takes place in the expansive Savannah landscape of northern Murchison, where a variety of grazing animals can be observed scattered around the area.
The species present in this group are the Oribis, Hartebeests, Kobs, and Defassa water-bucks, Topis, Buffaloes, Elephants, and Rothschild Giraffes.
Carnivorous animals such as lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas, among others, flourish in areas with dense vegetation. The duration of the game drive is approximately 3 to 4 hours. During this time, you can unwind and savor your meal.
The Nile River tour commences at 2 pm from Paraa jetty, proceeding towards the base of the falls. Embarking on a voyage along the world’s longest river offers a remarkable historical experience, with the opportunity to observe various wildlife such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of bird species including kingfishers, shoe-bill storks, and wild game along the river banks.
You are greeted with the awe-inspiring natural phenomenon – the most significant occurrence along the course of the River Nile.
Murchison Falls is a natural phenomenon where the entire Nile River is constricted to flow down a narrow valley that is less than 7 meters wide. As a result, the river falls 43 meters below, creating a magnificent spray and a distinctive loud noise, while a well-known rainbow appears in the sky. Upon arrival at the top of the falls, you will be greeted by the driver guide. From there, you will be transported to the lodge where you may unwind and have some leisure time.

On the third day, we will embark on a journey to Kibale National Park by car.
Embark on a journey to transfer to Kibale National Park, which is located 366km away. The drive will take approximately 7-8 hours and offer picturesque views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Albertine rift valley flats and escarpments. Along the way, you will also pass by lush tea gardens, villages, and small towns.

Day 4: Engaging in Chimpanzee Trekking at Kibale National Park and Proceeding to Kampala / Entebbe by car
Today, we will be examining the Common Chimpanzees, which are considered the iconic species of Kibale. In addition to Chimpanzees, Kibale National Park is also inhabited by 12 other primate species, including as the Grey cheeked mangabey, Vervet monkey, Black & white colobus, Blue Monkey, Galago, and potto. This diverse primate population has led to the park being recognized as the primate capital of the world. The Chimpanzee trekking commences at 8 a.m. and spans a duration of 2 to 5 hours, navigating through the verdant Kibale forest. This woodland is not only inhabited by chimpanzees but also boasts a remarkable diversity of 351 tree species and 375 bird species, including the uncommon Kibale ground thrush and the well-known green breasted pitta.
You have the opportunity to observe Chimpanzees for a duration of one hour, during which you can witness their feeding, playing, and social interactions. Conclude the activity and commence the journey back to Kampala / Entebbe.
